Thailand (X tons), Brunei Darussalam (X tons) and Pakistan (X tons) were the main destinations of concentrated orange juice exports from Malaysia, with a combined 61% share of total exports. Seychelles, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Tonga, Singapore and Indonesia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 33%.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in the Netherlands (with a CAGR of +34.4%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 21%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2017 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, concentrated orange juice imports expanded markedly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 12%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2017 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Brazil (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of concentrated orange juice to Malaysia, with a 49% share of total imports. Moreover, concentrated orange juice imports from Brazil exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the Netherlands (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Singapore (X tons), with a 13% share.
