India (X tons) was the main destination for nuts (prepared or preserved) exports from Uganda, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, nuts (prepared or preserved) exports to India exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Israel (X kg), more than tenfold. Belgium (X kg) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.

Imports into Uganda

Nuts (prepared or preserved) imports into Uganda dropped remarkably to X tons in 2022, which is down by X% compared with the year before. In general, imports saw a deep setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
