Namibia represented the key exporting country with an export of about X tons, which accounted for X% of total exports. Seychelles (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by South Africa (X tons), Mauritius (X tons) and Angola (X tons). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total exports.

Exports from Namibia decreased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Angola (X%) and Seychelles (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Angola emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in SADC, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. Mauritius experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, South Africa (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2023, the share of Seychelles and Angola increased by X and X percentage points, respectively. Frozen whole fish imports amounted to X tons in 2023, remaining relatively unchanged against the year before. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012 to 2023; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2023, imports remained at a lower figure.
