As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons, and then reduced in the following year.

In value terms, cattle hide and skin exports rose markedly to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, showed a notable expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Argentina (X tons) was the largest exporter of raw hides and skins of cattle, mixing up X% of total exports. Uruguay (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with an X% share, followed by Venezuela (X%), Brazil (X%), Costa Rica (X%) and Chile (X%). The following exporters - Nicaragua (X tons), Colombia (X tons), Guatemala (X tons), the Dominican Republic (X tons) and Bolivia (X tons) - together made up X% of total exports.

Argentina was also the fastest-growing in terms of the raw hides and skins of cattle exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Bolivia (X%), Chile (X%), Brazil (X%), Uruguay (X%), Costa Rica (X%), Nicaragua (X%) and the Dominican Republic (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
