In value terms, technical textiles imports expanded notably to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 14%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Belgium (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Italy (X tons) were the main suppliers of technical textiles imports to France, with a combined 61% share of total imports.
