Banana Market Size in Asia-Pacific

Myanmar (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Vietnam (X%), India (X%) and Cambodia (X%). The following exporters - Lao People's Democratic Republic (X tons) and Pakistan (X tons) - each recorded an X% share of total exports.
Exports from the Philippines decreased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Vietnam (X%), Cambodia (X%), Lao People's Democratic Republic (X%), India (X%), Myanmar (X%) and Pakistan (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Vietnam emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia-Pacific, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Vietnam, Myanmar, India, Cambodia, Lao People's Democratic Republic and Pakistan increased by X, X, X, X, X and X percentage points, respectively.

The import price in Asia-Pacific stood at $X per ton in 2022, surging by X% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of X%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per ton. From 2017 to 2022, the import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($X per ton), while Nepal ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
