The average unwrought zinc alloys import price stood at $3,631 per ton in May 2023, with a decrease of -8.1% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a mild slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 11% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $4,307 per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to May 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
