The average import price for meat of bovine animals; frozen stood at $6,445 per ton in July 2023, with a decrease of -4.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 6% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $6,992 per ton. From June 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $11,477 per ton. From June 2023 to July 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ukraine (+16.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
