Cherry Price in the United Arab Emirates (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average cherry import price amounted to $6,600 per ton, with an increase of 111% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a strong expansion. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Australia ($14,505 per ton), while the price for Syrian Arab Republic ($711 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Lebanon (+9.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average cherry export price amounted to $1,559 per ton, falling by -17.5% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, posted a pronounced expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 147% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $6,745 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Bahrain ($6,818 per ton), while the average price for exports to Uganda ($708 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Oman (+7.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Cherry Imports in the United Arab Emirates
