In 2023, Niger (X tons) represented the key exporter of vegetables, constituting X% of total exports. Senegal (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with an X% share, followed by Burkina Faso (X%), Benin (X%) and Ghana (X%). Togo (X tons), Nigeria (X tons) and Mali (X tons) took a little share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to vegetable exports from Niger stood at X%. At the same time, Benin (X%), Mali (X%), Togo (X%), Senegal (X%) and Nigeria (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Benin emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Western Africa, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. By contrast, Ghana (X%) and Burkina Faso (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
