In value terms, root and tuber imports contracted to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a perceptible curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, the Netherlands (X tons) constituted the largest root and tuber supplier to Turkey, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, root and tuber imports from the Netherlands exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the UK (X tons), sevenfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Germany (X tons), with an X% share.
