Turkey was the main exporting country with an export of around X square meters, which recorded X% of total exports. Algeria (X square meters) held a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Saudi Arabia (X%) and Egypt (X%). Morocco (X square meters), Iran (X square meters) and Iraq (X square meters) held a little share of total exports.

Exports from Turkey decreased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Algeria (X%) and Morocco (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Algeria emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in MENA, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Iran (X%), Egypt (X%), Saudi Arabia (X%) and Iraq (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Algeria (X p.p.), Turkey (X p.p.) and Morocco (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Iraq and Saudi Arabia saw its share reduced by X% and X% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
