The shipments of the three major exporters of guts, bladders and stomachs of animals, namely Morocco, Turkey and Egypt, represented more than two-thirds of total export. Iran (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Lebanon (X%).

In general, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, animal guts imports expanded modestly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by X%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, Morocco (X tons) represented the major importer of guts, bladders and stomachs of animals, mixing up X% of total imports.
