Imports in GCC
In 2023, imports of tapioca and substitutes in GCC skyrocketed to X tons, with an increase of X% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate prominent growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2021; however, from 2022 to 2023, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2023, the import price in GCC amounted to $X per ton, jumping by X% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a mild curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per ton. From 2020 to 2023, the import prices failed to regain momentum.
