In 2023, Germany (X tons), distantly followed by Italy (X tons), Spain (X tons), Poland (X tons), France (X tons), Romania (X tons) and Belgium (X tons) were the major exporters of unvulcanised rubber, together comprising X% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2023, the biggest increases were recorded for Italy (with a CAGR of X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

From 2012 to 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports in the EU
After two years of growth, purchases abroad of unvulcanised rubber decreased by X% to X tons in 2023. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2023, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Poland (X tons), Romania (X tons), Spain (X tons), Germany (X tons), France (X tons) and Italy (X tons) represented roughly X% of total imports in 2023. It was distantly followed by Hungary (X tons), making up a X% share of total imports. Portugal (X tons), Belgium (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons), Slovakia (X tons) and Slovenia (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Slovenia (with a CAGR of X%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Poland ($X), Romania ($X) and Germany ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2023, together comprising X% of total imports. Spain, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Hungary, Belgium, Slovakia and Slovenia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.

The import price in the European Union stood at $X per ton in 2023, rising by X% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2023, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($X per ton), while Hungary ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
