Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, major exporting countries recorded the following prices: in Hungary ($X per cubic meter) and Poland ($X per cubic meter), while Ukraine ($X per cubic meter) and Bulgaria ($X per cubic meter) were amongst the lowest.

As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, Poland (X cubic meters), distantly followed by Ukraine (X cubic meters), Russia (X cubic meters), Romania (X cubic meters), Slovakia (X cubic meters), Lithuania (X cubic meters), the Czech Republic (X cubic meters) and Belarus (X cubic meters) represented the major importers of MDF, together creating 89% of total imports.
