In value terms, pulses imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, posted a buoyant expansion. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

China prevails in imports structure, accounting for X tons, which was near X% of total imports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Japan (X tons), making up a X% share of total imports. The following importers - South Korea (X tons) and Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) - each recorded a X% share of total imports.
China was also the fastest-growing in terms of the pulses imports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022.
