In value terms, sugar crop exports reduced remarkably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, faced a significant decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Russia represented the main exporting country with an export of about X tons, which resulted at X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Uzbekistan (X tons) and Kyrgyzstan (X tons), together committing a X% share of total exports. Kazakhstan (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Russia was also the fastest-growing in terms of the sugar crops exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Kazakhstan (X%) and Uzbekistan (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Kazakhstan, with a CAGR of X%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the export price in the CIS amounted to $X per ton, falling by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, posted a significant increase.
