In 2022, the average vegetable puree export price amounted to $3,758 per ton, shrinking by -3.3% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average export price increased by 21%. The export price peaked at $4,707 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Aruba ($9,019 per ton), while the average price for exports to Haiti ($2,167 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Aruba (+12.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a perceptible descent.
