Turkey Meat Price in Canada (FOB) - 2023
The average turkey meat export price stood at $2,263 per ton in June 2023, approximately equating the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2023 when the average export price increased by 10% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $2,384 per ton in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to June 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United States ($2,914 per ton), while the average price for exports to Trinidad and Tobago ($1,208 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (+2.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Turkey Meat Price in Canada (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average turkey meat import price amounted to $7,070 per ton, rising by 11% against the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 an increase of 151% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $8,325 per ton. From May 2023 to June 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Turkey Meat Exports in Canada
After three years of growth, overseas shipments of turkey meat decreased by -14.7% to 24K tons in 2022.
