Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in July 2023 when the average import price increased by 43% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $8,982 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
