In 2022, the average sorghum export price amounted to $121 per ton, dropping by -42.2% against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a deep reduction. In 2022, the average sorghum import price amounted to $3,201 per ton, approximately mirroring the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a slight reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average import price increased by 33%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $4,826 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
