Quartzite Price in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2022
The average quartzite import price stood at $144 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 28% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated a modest expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, quartzite import price increased by +61.3% against 2020 indices. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($2,279 per ton), while the price for Slovakia ($66 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Quartzite Exports in the Czech Republic
In 2022, overseas shipments of quartzite decreased by -31.1% to 46 tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by 2,728%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 67 tons, and then dropped remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, quartzite exports dropped remarkably to $103K in 2022. In general, exports, however, saw significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 8,461%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $205K, and then declined significantly in the following year.
