Pumpkin Price in Australia (FOB) - 2023
The average pumpkin export price stood at $1,048 per ton in September 2023, shrinking by -2.1% against the previous month. Over the period from December 2022 to September 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.6%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 22% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $1,167 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to September 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($2,414 per ton), while the average price for exports to Singapore ($1,011 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Qatar (+3.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
