The average import price for wood stood at $233 per cubic meter in 2022, growing by 6.5% against the previous year. In general, the import price enjoyed a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average import price increased by 92%. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($493 per cubic meter), while the price for Germany ($133 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
