The average import price for wine; still, in containers holding 2 litres or lesses stood at $4.4 per litre in November 2023, dropping by -8.6% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 36% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $4.8 per litre in October 2023, and then shrank in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was New Zealand ($6.1 per litre), while the price for Poland ($606 per thousand litres) was amongst the lowest.

Overall, the export price, however, showed a perceptible curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 72% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $7.3 per litre in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to November 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the UK ($11.8 per litre), while the average price for exports to France ($1.9 per litre) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (-0.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.
