The average export price for waste, parings and scrap, of plasticses stood at $791 per ton in June 2022, growing by 18% against the previous month. Overall, the export price continues to indicate strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2021 when the average export price increased by 279% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $937 per ton. From August 2021 to June 2022, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In June 2022, the country with the highest price was Slovenia ($1,167 per ton), while the average price for exports to India ($119 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2021 to June 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+24.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
