In December 2022, the average tantalum; waste and scrap export price amounted to $154K per ton, surging by 56% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price showed a mild expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2022 an increase of 151% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $156K per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to December 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
