The average import price for stainless steel; flat-rolled products of width less than 600mms stood at $1,677 per ton in 2022, surging by 49% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a noticeable shrinkage. The import price peaked at $2,044 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
