The average export price for sheep, goat, swine or reptile leather, excluding chamois leather stood at $53.1 per square meter in November 2023, reducing by -6.3% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2023 when the average export price increased by 21% against the previous month. From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to New Zealand (+14.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
