In September 2023, the average import price for raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and cranberries amounted to $7,255 per ton, dropping by -9.5% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated a modest increase from September 2022 to September 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on September 2023 figures, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry import price decreased by -34.0% against June 2023 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 38% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $10,992 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to September 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Australia ($11,675 per ton), while the price for Peru ($6,368 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Chile (+8.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In September 2023, the average export price for raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and cranberries amounted to $5,731 per ton, with a decrease of -10.2% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2023 an increase of 152% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $11,556 per ton. From June 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for China.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for China amounted to -0.4% per month.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 45% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $170M, and then shrank in the following year.
