The average powders of pig iron import price stood at $1,354 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 43% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a deep contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 an increase of 147% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $2,337 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for India.

Imports of Powders of Pig Iron in Nepal
