In 2022, the average import price for poultry; live, ducks, weighing not more than 185g meat amounted to $2.6 per unit, shrinking by -9.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, enjoyed a pronounced increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when the average import price increased by 68%. The import price peaked at $2.9 per unit in 2021, and then fell in the following year.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($6.4 per unit), while the price for France stood at $2.3 per unit.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+4.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, imports of poultry; live, ducks, weighing not more than 185g meat reduced sharply to $125K in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed a dramatic downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 65% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $485K. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports of remained at a lower figure.
