The average import price for peat; (including peat litter), whether or not agglomerateds stood at $257 per ton in 2022, picking up by 13% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a mild descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when the average import price increased by 55% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $368 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
