In July 2023, the average export price for organo-sulphur compounds; thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamateses amounted to $2,633 per ton, shrinking by -13% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 33% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $3,158 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to July 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Spain ($4,784 per ton), while the average price for exports to France ($1,646 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
