In September 2023, the average iron or steel towers export price amounted to $984 per ton, with a decrease of -22.5% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a noticeable curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 61% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,880 per ton. From May 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Sweden ($991 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lithuania totaled $854 per ton.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Denmark (+1.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The average iron or steel towers import price stood at $2,040 per ton in 2022, declining by -14.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded notable growth.
