Price for Iodides and Iodide Oxides in France (FOB) - 2023
The average iodides and iodide oxides export price stood at $69,643 per ton in August 2023, which is down by -3.1% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2022 when the average export price increased by 22% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $71,840 per ton in July 2023, and then dropped in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($94,394 per ton), while the average price for exports to India ($61,048 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Switzerland (+9.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
