In November 2023, the average inner tubes, of rubber export price amounted to $5.1 per unit, growing by 64% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 74% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $8.0 per unit. From March 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Sri Lanka ($12.9 per unit), while the average price for exports to Turkey ($747 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+6.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The average inner tubes, of rubber import price stood at $3.1 per unit in 2022, with an increase of 7.1% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a noticeable contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 16% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $3.8 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +10.9% against 2019 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 61%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $21M, and then dropped rapidly in the following year.
