Price for Electronic Integrated Circuits; Memories in the United States (FOB) - 2023

The average electronic integrated circuits; memories export price stood at $1.1 per unit in July 2023, declining by -14.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a perceptible contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2022 when the average export price increased by 45% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2.0 per unit. From October 2022 to July 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($7.2 per unit), while the average price for exports to Singapore ($563 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (+4.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average electronic integrated circuits; memories import price stood at $879 per thousand units in July 2023, with an increase of 105% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a noticeable decline. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $2.2 per unit in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was South Korea ($9.2 per unit), while the price for Singapore ($320 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Singapore (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
