The average export price for crustaceans, molluscs and other aquatic invertebrates, prepared or preserveds stood at $4,527 per ton in March 2022, almost unchanged from the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2021 an increase of 3.9% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $5,025 per ton in June 2021; however, from July 2021 to March 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major external markets. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Poland ($6,324 per ton), while the average price for exports to Russia amounted to $4,366 per ton.

From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ukraine (-0.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In March 2022, the average import price for crustaceans, molluscs and other aquatic invertebrates, prepared or preserveds amounted to $3,614 per ton, dropping by -32.8% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $5,576 per ton in January 2022; however, from February 2022 to March 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
