Price for Copper Tube or Pipe Fitting in Turkey (FOB) - 2023

The average export price for tube or pipe fittings, couplings, elbows, sleeves of refined copper stood at $19,258 per ton in July 2023, rising by 1.8% against the previous month. In general, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 9.4% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $19,738 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to July 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In July 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Germany ($21,311 per ton) and Iraq ($20,138 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Czech Republic ($18,368 per ton) and Sweden ($18,434 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Portugal (+2.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
