In July 2023, the average import price for cereals; oats, other than seeds amounted to $569 per ton, picking up by 10% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a mild curtailment. The import price peaked at $654 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to July 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($2,195 per ton), while the price for Slovakia ($502 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
