Price for Cereal Flour; of Maize (Corn) in Kenya (CIF) - 2021

The average import price for cereal flour; of maize (corn) stood at $365 per ton in December 2021, flattening at the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a slight shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2021 when the average import price increased by 798% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $589 per ton in January 2021; however, from February 2021 to December 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.

As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Tanzania.
