Price for Books, Brochures and Leaflets in Turkey (FOB) - 2022

The average books, brochures and leaflets export price stood at $3,737 per ton in 2022, surging by 4.4% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average export price increased by 17%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $4,446 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($5,199 per ton), while the average price for exports to Syrian Arab Republic ($2,051 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Georgia (+2.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $14,942 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($29,270 per ton), while the price for Egypt ($1,834 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
