In 2022, the average import price for aluminium; powders of non-lamellar structures amounted to $3,983 per ton, rising by 28% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a deep contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 51%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $55,721 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($32,466 per ton), while the price for Brazil ($282 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+21.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
