In June 2023, the average import price for agriculture or forestry hand toolses amounted to $5,437 per ton, with a decrease of -19.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price showed a noticeable descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 an increase of 38% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $9,456 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to June 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Sweden ($21,296 per ton), while the price for China ($2,879 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (+8.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In June 2023, the average export price for agriculture or forestry hand toolses amounted to $8,914 per ton, with a decrease of -21.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, export price indicated a strong increase from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.2% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, agriculture or forestry hand tools export price decreased by -23.2% against April 2023 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 when the average export price increased by 70% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $11,603 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to June 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Germany ($61,526 per ton), while the average price for exports to Spain ($784 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+12.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
