The average plate work export price stood at $144 per unit in 2022, surging by 4.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated a strong increase from 2018 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +12.0% over the last four-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, plate work export price increased by +57.2% against 2018 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 39% against the previous year. The export price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
