Peanut Butter Price in Ireland (CIF) - 2023
In August 2023, the average peanut butter import price amounted to $4,082 per ton, falling by -5.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in November 2022 an increase of 15% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $4,378 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to August 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($4,899 per ton), while the price for Argentina ($2,468 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+3.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Peanut Butter Price in Ireland (FOB) - 2022
The average peanut butter export price stood at $4,217 per ton in 2022, approximately reflecting the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a perceptible expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 56% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 21%.
