Pasta Products Price in Morocco (FOB) - 2022
The average pasta products export price stood at $1,944 per ton in December 2022, reducing by -20% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in September 2022 when the average export price increased by 33% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2,562 per ton. From October 2022 to December 2022, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Qatar ($2,702 per ton), while the average price for exports to Mali ($808 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Mali (+5.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Pasta Products Price in Morocco (CIF) - 2022
In December 2022, the average pasta products import price amounted to $1,937 per ton, growing by 6% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a pronounced contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2022 an increase of 113% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $4,959 per ton. From June 2022 to December 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
