Oil Crops Price in Azerbaijan (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average oil crops import price amounted to $925 per ton, increasing by 4.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price enjoyed prominent growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when the average import price increased by 50% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in years to come.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($2,371 per ton), while the price for Argentina ($632 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
